If you are looking for an inexpensive treadmill then Stamina InMotion II manual treadmill might be the choice for your. First of all as manual treadmills go it is not the cheapest, but is it not most expensive either. You can purchase it for less than 150 dollars, which is good price for this quality. It is very basic as treadmills go but everything in this price range is. The retail package is quite small and you can pick it up with compact car.
Stamina is easy to assemble. Which is good because the instructions were not that good. Just a few screws and its done. You can start running immediately. The one thing you want from a treadmill is stability. Although the Stamina treadmill looks small and light, it is actually very sturdy. Even with our heaviest runner we could not notice any excessive flex in the body of the treadmill. It stays put all types of floor materials. We tested it on wood, tile, linoleum and wall to wall carpet. When you are done running you can easily fold it and push it under your bed or put it in the closet.
Who is it for?
If you are used to treadmills with an automatically rotating belt then the InMotion II can feel a bit heavy to begin with, but when you start running the motion feel natural and flowing. It takes about 5 minutes to get used to and then feels more natural than an automatic belt. The belt is also long enough for tall people. Our longest testrunner was 6′ 5i and he had no problems running. With the Stamina InMotion II you are guaranteed to have a great workout. It is best for people who don’t have a lot of space at home and want a quiet and inexpensive treadmill.
